Storm The Castle
Stormy is a beautiful classic looking and bred TB with lovely movement and personality. Flat enough knee for hunters. Stormy won over $100,00 at the track proving what a great athlete he is. He has been turned out for quite some time and the video was taken (End od April) after a couple of weeks under saddle. He has never offered to be naughty. His only reaction under saddle has been to turned out horses galloping up to the fence when he was going by. He does have aome thickening in the left pastern but flexes sound and has been totally fine in his work and is barefoot. $1200 OBO for this sweet horse includes 7 days at trainers. CVHR- Groovy Heart
CVHR (Central Virginia Horse Rescue) Groovy Heart is a 14 yr old Thoroughbred mare. She is a gorgeous red bay. She retired from the racetrack in 1999. Groovy is about 15.2 hands tall. She is sound with clean legs and feet. She has excellent ground manners and lunges well. She is easy to work with and around. riding!! We have ridden her western and english. She rides very well. We have done walk/trot with her so far and she does great!! Nice little jog or sitting trot and will move up into a regular trot with no trouble. She is best friends with Stop That Akki also on this site. She is avaialable on a right of first refusal no auction contract. 
3yr old TB filly
This filly was part of the Olympic Hill rescue and therefore will require a vet and farrier reference name and phone number. On the smaller side she would be ideal for polo. Is not broken and will require basic handling. 
CVHR-Stop that Akki
Located at CVHR (Central Va Horse rescue) ‘Stop That Akki’ arrived here in mid July with Groovy Heart. She might have the honor of being the first in a long list of horses that were at risk due to the record heat and drought in this area. Her owners simply had too many horses and not enough pasture. As you can see from her pictures, she is in need of a little more weight and is enjoying having shelter from the blazing sun. Once her new coat grows in, she will be almost black. Akki is not the least bit hot or wild. In my opinion, she would make an excellent hunter prospect or youth project horse. She is sound as far as I can tell and has clean legs and good feet. Her adoption fee is $600. 4-H members and Pony Clubbers are encouraged to inquire. She would make an excellent project horse. 
fancy dressage/event prospect

2000 Ch mare, very correct, beautiful mover and jump. By General Meeting (Seattle Slew out of an Alydar mare). Race trained but unraced. No named foals (possibly used by QH breeder as embryo transfer mare). She is back in training for the hunter ring, pointed towards the Tucson A show fall show series. Easy enough for Jr/AA, good enough for pro. Has 6+ year old tendon strain, now PERFECTLY SOUND. In training now, price is $5000 now, goes up to $7500 Sept 1 and $10,000 after first week of showing.
